Sunshine Girls Experience Island Safari On The First Day Of Christmas
The eight girls at the Sunshine Home in Johnson’s Point kicked off twelve days of fun and good cheer with the gift of an Island Safari Tour from Tropical Adventures. The tour included historical National Parks sightseeing, and a picnic lunch at Betty’s Hope.
“The Twelve Days of Christmas” is an initiative of Halo, a charitable organization founded by Lady Sandra Williams, who — along with her husband Sir Rodney Williams — is Patron of the Sunshine Home for Girls. “The aim of the foundation is to assist the many organizations that fall under our patronage”, she explained. “There is so much sadness, distress and poverty on a global scale. But charity begins at home. Right here in Antigua, there are people who need as much care and attention as we are able to give. And we hope to rise to this formidable challenge, with the help of our many friends and partners”.
