Larger Projects and Equipment Needs
The Home is also seeking assistance with several important improvement projects and major equipment needs:
- A backup water system for interruptions to the government water supply
- A generator to provide backup electricity
- Construction of a storage area
- Repairs to the leaking roof
- Bathroom rehabilitation
- Replacement of stairs and railings
- A 220-volt refrigerator with an approximate capacity of 17.6 cubic feet
Van Sponsorship
The Salvation Army Sunshine Home for Girls is also seeking monthly sponsorship of EC$1,000 to assist with the operation of its van.
The sponsorship would help cover:
