Guiding Light Award 2023
Applications are now open for the “Guiding Light” Award. This will be given to an outstanding Girl Guide and an outstanding Scout, who have excelled in their level of activity/ innovation and generosity.
AWARD
A gold medal, manufactured in the United Kingdom through Worcestershire Medal Services by appointment of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, will be presented to the meritorious recipient(s). The award will be presented in December 2023.
REQUIREMENTS
All sections of this form must be completed. Forms must be printed, filled out by the applicant and returned to the appointed representative or head of the applicant’s organization.
References must be submitted by three (3) different referees, presented in separate envelopes and attached to the application form.
References can be offered by leaders or any person who can attest to the humanitarian efforts of the applicant. Relatives cannot act as referees.
