Patron of Team Antigua Island Girls and President of The Halo Foundation , Her Excellency Lady Williams , presented the team with a cheque for $30,000 upon their historic arrival at the Nelson ‘s Dockyard after rowing across the Atlantic Ocean for 47 days .
Halo had earlier presented the team with $10,000, as well as gifting the Cottage of Hope with much needed electrical appliances and supplies of water .
The Cottage of Hope is the chosen charity of Team Antigua , and is a home for abandoned and abused girls .
