A donation of $5000.00 was made this week by Her Excellency Lady Williams, President and Founder of the Halo Foundation, to the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Symphony Orchestra (ABYSO) representative, Camelia Thomas. The funds are in support of an ABYSO concert, in partnership with the Purcell School, the Royal Overseas League and Wells Cathedral School, all out of the United Kingdom.
The concert, which celebrates 70 years of the existence of the Commonwealth, will take place at the Dean William Lake Centre on Sunday, July 14th at 6:00 p.m.
ABYSO is one of 34 charities under the patronage of Their Excellencies Sir Rodney and Lady Williams.
