The Halo Foundation, led by President Her Excellency Lady Sandra Williams and Patron His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, donated $5000 to the Friends of the Care Project in the spirit of Christmas.
In her remarks to the gathering, Lady Williams said that she was “moved to tears” to see how greatly the mental and physical skills of the children had improved over the past year. She thanked the management and staff, including the physiotherapist and other care givers, for the wonderful supervision which they continue to provide to each resident of the Care Project and participant in the Outreach Program.
Lady Williams also praised the parents for recognising the challenges faced by their offspring and seeking the necessary assistance for the enhancement and enrichment of the quality of their lives. She highlighted the emotional encouragement and provision of formal education that aid the development of their young minds.
