Feeding the sick and elderly

Home / News / Feeding the sick and elderly

Sentiments of gratitude echoed through the air last Sunday as approximately 100 homeless, elderly or sick people were treated to a warm lunch.

The pre-packed meals, catered by Stanley’s Home Restaurant and Little Canton Supermarket through the “WOK for Charity” promotion, were delivered within the Pares community, and through the assistance of the Soup Kitchen.

This feeding exercise was sponsored by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, and organized by the Halo Foundation, the Chinese Association of Antigua and Barbuda, and the Antigua and Barbuda China Friendship Association.
