The Halo Foundation honored Lava International / Townhouse Megastore with its annual Best Corporate Citizen award during a brief presentation ceremony held at Government House last week. In his remarks, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams commended both companies for good corporate stewardship and meaningful displays of social responsibility. Speaking on behalf of Halo, Her Excellency Lady Williams thanked Lava/Townhouse for their willingness to give back to community, and stressed that these two entities were being recognized for their consistency of involvement, and their commitment to various charitable endeavors. Jamal Thomas , Manager of Lava, expressed the companies’ appreciation for being selected to receive the 2016 award.
