On the evening of Tuesday 5th September through to midday of Wednesday 6th September, the twin island nation of Antigua and Barbuda was rocked and ravaged by the catastrophic winds of Hurricane Irma (one of the strongest hurricanes ever reported).
The island of Barbuda was particularly affected, and experienced the full force of the storm. The eye of hurricane Irma travelled directly over the flat plains of Barbuda leaving 90% of the population homeless. The rebuilding process will take many years and any effort to help will be truly appreciated.
You can make a difference in the lives of those affected. Please consider giving whatever you can afford to help our disadvantaged brothers and sisters.
